Featured Maker: SEA and SALT

Hello! I’m Corinne and I am the owner and creator of SEA and SALT. I create SEA and SALT accessories for the adventurers, the wanderers, and the roamers in life; whether physically or mentally, I cater to anyone with insatiable wanderlust.

I have the constant urge to be learning, discovering, and trying new things, and with that comes my passion for creating. SEA and SALT is an outlet to share my love of travel, fashion, and art.

My designs are heavily influence by the needs of a traveler. I strive to create beautiful pieces that juxtapose the organic with the inorganic; pieces that are unique, as well as useful. All designs are imagined, actualized and produced by me.

This will be my second year at the Not Your Mama’s Holiday Market and I am excited to share my hand dyed cotton totes and cross body bags with you in this season’s rich blues and burgundies, as well as luxurious chocolate and mahogany hued vegan leather bags. Rounding off my assortment of offerings will be cloudy soft hand dyed scarves and super fun pompom keychains.

Looking forward to seeing you all there! Until then, feel free to follow along with my adventures on Instagram (@sea.and.salt).

Featured Maker: Colleen Rosshirt

Colleen Rosshirt is a self-taught maker who designs and creates stained glass ornaments. These little beauties are great gifts for friends and family, but you will probably want to keep them for your own windows and Christmas trees! Colleen enjoys talking to people about the creation process from designing new patterns to cutting glass to soldering. Fundamental to her business model is maintaining affordable price points so that stained glass art is accessible to people with any budget.

Featured Maker: Sol Heritage

Sol Heritage is a company made up of a mother and daughter, using a skill that was passed on from generation to generation. Sherri was taught to crochet by her grandmother when she was nine years old. Sherri then taught Heather to crochet when she was 23 years old. They started with just yarn, crochet hooks and very little knowledge of owning a business. Together they have navigated the world of online selling, craft shows, consignment and have discovered just how much hard work goes into owning a business. Their passion and love has driven them forward because they are creating so much more than a business; together, they are creating a life of crochet.

Featured Maker: Little Bungalow Designs

Hello! I’m Jessi from Little Bungalow Designs, based in Columbus, OH.
It all started with my favorite little red head. My daughter Hadley was born in April 2015 and I’ve been making headbands and bows ever since.

I’ve always been inspired by print and pattern and love color! I love finding new colors and materials to make special bows for your little ones! All bows and flowers are handmade using quality materials, including wool blend felt, velvet ribbon, soft stretchy nylon, elastic and cotton fabric.

You can find my bows and flowers on our website  and follow me on Facebook!

Featured Maker: Evergreen Crafts

Hey hey!! It’s Ally from Evergreen here and I just wanted to share with you a little bit about what Evergreen is all about. I started Evergreen about 3 years ago, when I re-learned how to sew by making Christmas Stockings for friends and family. The more I learned about sewing the more I fell in love! I started out sewing in the basement of my Fiancé’s (now husband’s) house and now I have an actual sewing sanctuary…giving new meaning to “started from the bottom now we’re here”. I drifted towards making women’s handbags, wallets, pouches, and other practical items using designer fabric and upcycled leather. It’s crazy to see how beautiful cotton can be turned into something so useful and functional, while also keepin’ in quirky with some far from boring prints. I also love doing custom orders because it keeps me learning and gives me an exciting challenge!
You can stay updated with all things Evergreen by following me on Instagram @Evergreencrafts and find my handmade goods at www.etsy.com/shop/EvergreenCraftsOH.
